This is the quintessential puppy. He was full of energy, loved everyone, clumsy, and a total goofball. This was a rescue portrait for Wagging Tails Rescue. He was about 10 weeks when I met him and he was awesome. This is the time when you have to smile and make sure that you don't end up with 25 dogs at your house. Puppies often are a bit reserved you can tell this boy runs like someone left the door open. This photo was taken about two seconds before he plowed into me laying on the grass and flipped over.
The hardest part of photographing rescues is meeting a dog that just meshes with you personally. I have met several beautiful dogs who would make great homes for the right family but I just didn't feel the connection. This guy was on my mind for about 3 weeks after the photo session, luckily for Bear this boy went extremely fast.
