Rick Vierkandt is the sole proprietor and photographer at the Bark Gallery. Named one of the top 100 successful business men in Las Vegas, by My Vegas Mag in 2014, Rick began his fine art career photographing nature and wildlife scenes. In the years that followed he spent time crafting his skills through the study of portrait composition, learning and following cutting edge technology and developing his own systematic use of lighting. Inspired by friends, Rick began studying animal behaviors and techniques that have allowed him to reproduce remarkable moments in a pet's life. Rick individualizes his sessions based on an animals needs and strengths in a variety of settings, allowing him to capture these special portraits. His fine art photography has been featured on the covers for the Pet Scene Magazine. He continues to give back to the community through his volunteer services at a variety of rescue centers throughout the Las Vegas valley.
