So you will notice quite a few photos of a beautiful yellow labrador named "Bear". He is my personal dog and the inspiration behind the logo. He came to me around April of 2013, I remember the day he jumped in the backseat of my car. I was picking him up to foster him for the Las Vegas Labrador Rescue. He had come from Utah down to California, then back to Nevada to be fostered by me.
The first thing that dogs coming into the rescue do is get neutered/spayed and a full head to paw checkup. Bear has a great personality and is extremely loyal. He came back a few days later with the cone of shame and started getting used to home life. I don't know his story beyond the time when I first met him, he could've been part of the circus, a dog who likes to travel? Who knows. I know that he has found his forever home and I like to call it a "foster success".
I have always wondered who would've given up Bear; he is crate trained, potty trained and doesn't seem to have any issues. He definitely has his "naughty side" but, Bear is wonderful around "his people". If you see Bark Gallery at events just know Bear is home relaxing before going on his next great adventure.
As you can tell Bear is one happy boy. He seems to have chosen his new forever home in stride. Bear took to me almost right away and was very loving. Bear knows when I get home and happily greets me at the door. He also takes the time to watch me leave for sessions from the porch.
Bear knows that if he sits just long enough for me to click a few photographs, he can then chase the ball I am using to make sure he looks at the camera. He likes to swim, go on outdoor adventures, and play fetch. If Bear doesn't like your presence he will close the front door on you literally....
Enjoy this small collection of my favorite Bear photographs in the last 2 years. I will often post more on social media, which if you are not following you are in for a wonderful visual treat. I have linked my social media accounts below.
