This litter was a lot of fun to photograph. They would all cuddle when they were waiting for photos to be taken. One of the puppies was enamored with me and would stare at me the entire time. She was working her puppy eyes on me, saying can I go with you? I am a great model. :) 

  This was one of my rescue portrait sessions for a local rescue Wagging Tails. I frequently volunteer with pet portraits for this rescue.  I know that rescue animals need great photos to help them find forever homes. 

The stories of how the animals become "rescued" are often extremely sad, but the wonderful thing is when the opposite happens and they find a forever home. The majority of pets that I have met from rescues are all wonderful animals. They have a great disposition and a zest for life. I swear rescue dogs know that they are truly special.
