Chief was a wonderful dog and very well behaved. The portraits I took of Chief are some of the best from my trip to Iowa. Chief had a beautiful coat and really stood out in the forest. He was a high energy dog and wanted to play quite a bit. When I photographed him he was around 10 months old and acted like a mature dog.  

It was a total shock to me to get the email from Chief's family saying that he had gotten into something and was going into kidney failure. Chief passed away just shy of his one year birthday. The photos I took that day of Chief will be the great memory of this beautiful dog for the family. 

One of the services I offer at Bark Gallery is Emergency Portraits. While it's best to setup an appointment prior to an emergency it sometimes doesn't happen. If you contact me and would like portraits for memories I always accommodate however I can.
